In XVIII century every british sailor every day received a portion of the rum. But in that time Britain received new admiral. this admiral was very miserly in all things. So he decided to give sailors not pure rum, but mix of rum and water. This mix received a name by the nickname of this admiral. Now this alcohol drink has many variations, but always proportion of water and alcohol same as was proportion between water and rum in XVIII century.
What is the name of this alcohol drink?

To help minimize the effect of the alcohol on his sailors, Admiral Edward Vernon directed that the rum ration be watered down before being issued, a mixture which became known as grog.
